1. Reconcile the financial picture
The approach being developed starts with twelve complete months of recognized revenue and clearly separated expenses. Revenue run-rate, cash collected and accounting profit are different measures.
2. Choose the right earnings lens
Seller’s Discretionary Earnings (SDE) can help describe an owner-operated business. Adjusted EBITDA considers what it costs to replace essential owner work. A consistent bridge should show how reported net income becomes provisional normalized earnings.
3. Review the quality behind the numbers
Recurring revenue durability, churn definitions, customer concentration, growth and founder dependency deserve context. We intend to show the evidence and assumptions behind each diagnostic instead of inventing automatic price penalties.
4. Prepare for a valuation, without skipping the research
A defensible market estimate needs relevant completed transactions, comparable earnings definitions and explicit uncertainty. AppsWorth’s methodology is still being validated. This website does not calculate or provide business valuations.
